Leopard Discus are the most pricey discus for the size we get in, but for a good reason, the color is fantastic.

    News & New Items
    Hey Everyone,

This was a great week for new incoming fish to add to the list!  We got a very large shipment from Indo with a lot of staples and cool stuff everyone always wants.  Probably the most demanded item on the shipment were the Papua Blueberry Snails, we got another bag of them after the last batch sold out instantly.  Super, super cool snail that gives live birth and has a blue body with orange sparkles.  Not an exaggeration.

Other notable fish on this restock were Fire Eels, Hillstream loaches, Choprae Danios, Kubutai Rasboras, Uaru, Redtail and Shovelnose catfish, and plenty more fancy shrimp of all colors.  So we've got you covered from colorful nano planted tanks up to monster aquaria just from this one importation.

Colombia came in with the Andean Stargazer Catfish we haven't had in a while.  Those are a super cool small catfish (4 inches or so max size I believe)  that comes from fast flowing shallow mountain streams in the Andes mountains. Sort of remind me of a super huge borneo sucker cat.  They can suction-cup-walk themselves up the corner of a glass tank, so make sure to have a lid for them!

It's a pretty solid week for swordtails, with a few new types that got marked in-stock this week plus we got more of the all-male greens and pineapples for those of you that want males instead of females.

The large peacocks and haps on the list are still absolutely incredible looking, and truly large.  Ask your rep for pics if you're interested, we've got them.  We just didn't want to keep putting them on here week after week.  The tangerine tigers are especially nice, and at least 6 inches average.

Give your rep a call if you have any questions!

    Tetras & Characins
Albino silver tip tetras continue to be exceptionally large and colorful.
Black neons are back and HUGE!  Biggest I've ever seen, full grown fish being sold to you.  Price doesn't change when they're big, so stock up before the big ones run out.
Blushing White LF are running large still, and have a very unique look to them.  Would look cool under the blue lights with your GloFish®
Buenos Aires tetras are consistently one of the largest tetras available.  These honestly would even make good dither fish for larger cichlids. They're very fast swimming and robust fish.
Lemon Tetra always sell out pretty quick, but they should be here for Monday and Tuesday at a minimum.
Red Eyes have been very limited supply for the last month or two, so i'm suprised at how large this restock was.  Usually when they're unavailable most weeks the fish that show up are quite small.
Rosy Tetra are extremely similar to the Candy Cane HY511 tetras that everyone loves.  This is a great option to carry on all those times that the candy canes are out of stock (like right now).

    Barbs & Other Cyprinids
Platinum Green tiger barbs are listed as large and the size doesn't disappoint.  Wonderful color on these right now.
Checkerboard Barb may win the award for "least photogenic" barb we regularly get.  Look up pictures of these online that have been taken in the tank professionally, if you've never seen them in person before.  It's a very attractive and less aggressive barb.
Choprae (Glowlight) Danios are back in stock, and great size!  These should be showing awesome color by Monday, they just showed up last night so they're still a little stressed.  One of the best looking Danios in the hobby, and just as hardy as most of the more common danios.
Kubotai Rasbora are a bright green color, which is quite rare in most freshwater fish.  Not much is truly green like these guys are.  They're the perfect nano fish.
Redtail Sharks are reliably in stock again it seems.  We haven't ran out in about a month now, so this aquarium staple looks like it's back on the menu for the time being at least
5" albino rainbow shark.  Very limited, probably will run out on Monday.  We sell these for way, way too cheap, in my opinion.  If a carton of eggs can cost $6 now, this should be a $30 fish retail.
    Livebearers
All male pineapple swordtails got restocked.  Fantastic size and color on these, definitely the top sword at the moment.
Kohaku koi sword are back and this is a very nice sized batch (note the dime for reference in the pic).  As always though, males tend to not display swords on this color type for some reason, so you'll get likely 0 or 1 male with a sword per batch of 12.
Dawn platy look great right now with their seafoam green body and bright red tails.
XL Platy are forever and always the best platy here.  You should really be spending the extra to get these instead of other platy types to stand out from every other store in the country.   People like big common fish that they dont usually see big.
Green Sailfin Molly are well over 50% males, so it's a great time to get these guys.
Blue Cobra guppy are the best dark-colored guppy right now with nice big tails.  I love the snakeskin body pattern.
Pigeonblood are the best brightly colored guppy at the moment.  These look very similar to the pineapple cobras, so I wouldn't recommend getting both at the same time.  Another nice bright one are the solid yellow Lemons, or the Red or White Dumbo.

    New World Cichlids
Medium Black angels are already showing green in the face of the males, which looks super cool.  The body gets darker as they grow, so these will be solid black.
Chili Oscar are about 3 inches and the brightest, best color Oscar you can possibly get in the hobby right now.  These are probably unbelievable when they're a foot long, but I've never seen one in person that size.
2 Inch Cuban cichlids are restocked and are definitely running a little bit larger than that listed size.  These turn almost paper-white with black markings when they get a little larger and are definite tank bosses once they're 4 or 5 inches.
Dovii cichlids are pushing 2-2.5 inches on average with some being closer to 3.  Another fish that's going to turn into the only fish in the tank eventually.  These are one of the largest and meanest CA cichlids out there.  I've seen breeding males that were probably 18 inches long.
4" Brasiliensis are closer to 3" but color is really nice on these.  Keep in mind they get much larger than all the other commonly sold Geophagus, with a max size about a foot, easily.
4" Heckelii are significantly better looking than the 3 inch.  Worth the extra couple bucks for the streamer extensions on the fins.
    Discus
Pigeonblood.  Super nice batch, no peppering.
    Blue Diamond
Example from the assorted.  About 80% of them are similar looking to this in the mix.
Green Turquoise are super interesting, and the first time we've ever had these.  I wish I knew what the adults looked like, probably very cool!
What was sent as Marlboro Red look to be more like Rose Reds. Still a great looking fish when they mature but just wanted to make sure everyone knew what they're actually getting.
Snow White are the largest discus available right now, and super crisp clear white coloration.
    Old World Cichlids
Exasperatus, big male in the tank that's fully fired up.
Exasperatus, what the rest look like.  Still extremely nice for a "reg" size mbuna.  One of my personal facorites.  Even the females have plenty of red and blue color.
This is an example of what came in as Red Zebra this week. Clearly that's not at all what it is, guessing it's a hybrid of some sort but very pretty nonetheless.
Clown Lab. mbuna.  Get a nice bright white dorsal when they grow up.
Medium hap Moori (AKA Blue Dolphin) are way oversized and super blue.  I've seen them breed smaller than this before in my tank at home.  These are a great pickup for the price.
OB Red Empress.  I think this is one of the fish listed as a "show peacock" still, but it's actually an OB Empress which is more valuable than a peacock.

    Catfish and Loaches
Punctatus cory came in great size like usual.  Also, we've started shipping cory cats with carbon in the bag, and it seems to help cut down on losses significantly.
Stargazer Catfish are here for the first time in about a year or so.  Super interesting "clinging" type sucker cats that need high flow and oxygenation.
4 Line Pictus catfish are great size.  Super active in the daytime and they don't hide much, so they are a great catfish for a big tank.
Tiger Shovelnose catfish are back and much larger than the last couple batches that were barely 2 inches.
LG Albino Bushynose are absolute monsters right now.  I think every male in the tank is close to this big.
Tiger Botia Loaches are a very attractive, but semi-aggressive, bottom feeder.
Redtail Blue Botia are fairly aggressive so they do best in cichlid tanks or with other semi-aggressive fish like tiger barbs. Color is great though.
    Other Fish & Stuff
Balloon Kissing Gourami AKA Floating Head Fish (I just made that up)
I'll stop putting these in when they stop looking awesome. Probably won't be any time soon.
Leopard Ctenapoma AKA African Leaf Fish. They remind me of little miniature freshwater versions of Panther Groupers.  They do get about 4-5 inches pretty commonly and will eat live guppies when they're bigger like that, but are fine community fish while they're small.
Exodon AKA Bucktooth Tetra are great size right now and would make a great species-only display in the shop.  They are absolutely ferocious, more aggressive than piranha when it comes to attacking fish larger than themselves.  They will strip scales off their tankmates and really do some damage.  But they're still very popular and look great as a species tank with tons of activity.
Fire eels back in stock at the 6-7 inch size.  Color is already great on them even at this size, and they're much, MUCH more affordable to get them like this rather than the foot long-plus individuals.
3" Clown Knife are very limited this week.  I think we might have left them off the list, but if you need them let your rep know and we should have a few.
Delhizi Bichir are restocked and are the main fancy bichir we carry regularly.  These do get massive, so they're great for monster fish tanks.

    Inverts
Papua Blueberry Snail are back in stock.  NOT OUR PHOTO, it's from Garnelio in Europe.  We can't get a picture here that shows them crawling around so you can see their body color.  Absolutely stunning snail species, and they give live birth like rabbit snails too!  Last time we got them, we sold out in 2 days, and then had people trying to order 100+ at a time after that, so they'll probably go quick.
Amano shrimp current size.  Not great, but not terrible.
Mixed mystery snails are looking great, and we have I believe almost every color in the mix.   Gold are usually the best looking if you just want a single color.

    Saltwater Corals
The Saltwater stock-list gets sent out on MONDAY afternoon.

In saltwater, we offer tons of top-of-the-line corals.  If you need really nice frags to sell for $10-15, we've got you covered.  If you want a $400 show piece unique Australian brain corals, we've got that too.  Tons of the coral frags are aquacultured in-house and are named lineage pieces of various SPS and LPS.  Import frags that are MADE in-house are also available, and are great options to get slightly bigger pieces that customers want like torches, hammers, blastos, acans, zoas, etc.
