Large Electric Blue Acaras are back in stock for the first time in a while. Running between 3.5"-4". These are sure to sell out in a hurry
    Hey everyone,

This is your last chance to order to get fish before Christmas!  I'm not sure how much more I can say this other than putting it in the subject line as well as mentioning it again here.  If you saw this notice on Friday in the last email and you're tired of hearing about it, I'm sorry, but I'm also positive we will come back to work on Monday the 30th after being closed all of next week to several emails of attempted orders while we're closed.  Please don't let that be you!  Get your orders in by AT THE LATEST tomorrow,Tuesday, at 6PM.

While we are obviously trying to cut down on stock so that we don't have a ton of fish sitting here over the 10 day closure, but we did still get a handful of new fish over the weekend.  We also still do have some small restocks arriving today for the staples that you can't be out of stock on like guppies, mollies, platies, etc.  The large EB acaras are one of the new weekend fish that came from Florida farmers and they're outstanding.  Much much nicer than the large green terrors that were already on the list (which are a slightly oversized medium at best, not truly large).

The Asian imports landing right now should keep us stocked on the staples you need for anyone that has orders already submitted and packing tomorrow, and for any of you that submit an order tomorrow for us to pack up Wednesday.

Give us a call if you have any questions!

"Large" Green Terrors are running around 3.5". They're called large because that's what our vendor lists them as. This is by comparison to regular or mediums. Not in comparison as to how big this species gets. Regardless these are highly sought after at any size and will sell out very quickly.
I know I've mentioned these a few times and even put them in one of the videos, but these are one of my favorite mbuna for a reason. They have a very attractive appearance with a crystal blue body accompanied by darker blue barring. Not to mention they're relatively peaceful as far as mbuna types go.
Once a common staple in African Cichlid collections the Exasperatus have become relatively scarce. This is another very attractive mbuna that is quite distinct from most other members of this group as is still very popular amongst avid collectors.
Longfin all male Rosy Barbs keep coming in with great color and finnage from local vendors. This is one you definitely want to have on hand especially this time of year as the busy season is upon us.
Blue Tetras came in from Indo a couple weeks ago and are starting to color up. Once these guys are on anything other than a plain glass bottom they're sure to pop. Another neat species you won't see in box stores.
Firecracker Swords are without question the most impressive livebearer we get in. They may be a little pricey compared to other swords but well worth it.
Spotted Raphael Cats are big, fat and holding up great. This is a very shy species so I recommend removing any decor during the day so your customers can actually see them. Otherwise they're just going to hide all the time.
New Royal Plecos are bigger than the last batch and have great pronounced pinstriping with bright red eyes.
    Reptile & Amphibian Highlights
Not a ton to update for reptiles.  A few new spiders got added to the list this week, along with Ornate Wood turtles.  These turtles will be $300 one day when they get harder to import.  I'm surprised more people aren't into these, they're beautiful turtles.  Semi-aquatic, so need a mostly land based enclosure but enjoy a nice place to swim and cool off.
