For those of you who don't study Latin "Heros Liberifer" is a fancy type of wild Severum. For whatever reason we managed to leave that off the price list so I figured I'd provided a translation here lol.

Starfire Red® Angels still getting filled every week and the size is select+. These are outstanding and pair well with the Starfire Red® Gouramis. No better time to stock up than on a launch week!
    Hey Folks,

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's day weekend. Hopefully it wasn't as hot and humid as it was here but at least it wasn't freezing cold like it still is in some parts of the country. Well the Starfire Red® Gourami launch last week was a huge success and looks like everyone did well with them over the weekend as we are already seeing a lot of reorders. In addition to those we also have not only regular size Starfire Red® Angels but some large sized ones as well. Not sure how long these will last so act fast.

Got in plenty of goodies over the weekend. The one I think most people will be excited for are the Rainbow Dace. Not because they can be a bit scarce but because they are in full season color. Males practically look like little Rainbow Trout. Both Vampire and Firecracker Swords got refilled late last week. We have them out in one of our rooms that gets a lot of natural sunlight and they're red coloration rivals that of any saltwater fish I've seen. Far East raised peacocks include Sunshine, Strawberry and Assorted. All of whish are freshly juiced and super bright. Brackish water favorites all saw some refills over the weekend including Archers, Green Scats, Spotted and Figure 8 Puffers.

Florida provided some great homegrown items this weekend as well. Red Glass Barbs are back after a brief absence. Size is average but color is outstanding. Best Rainbow going into the week hands down are the Millenium. Got in a ton of Cichlid restocks including medium Jacks, Curviceps, Rainbow amd a handfull of red Spot Gold Severums in select and medium sizes. Africans might steal the show this week with some amazing looking Zebra Obliquedens, Rock Kribs, and assorted large Haps. All in all lots of color to fill your tanks with. And for those of you who missed Friday's newsletter here's a recap of some of the highlights:

Finally got Colombia in this week. And while some of the availability is still pretty limited we did get restocks on some very popular items. First I will have to say are the Ruby Tetras. We have not had these in forever despite multiple attempts at ordering them. These can be classified as a "nano" fish and sell  out almost immediately every time we get them. Next up as far as popularity go are the Green Neons. I've said it a thousand times but that's because it's true, these sell well on name alone. For Plecos we got refills on Royals, Green Phantoms, Colombian Zebras and Snowballs. Cories saw restocks on Skunks, Agassizi, Punctatus and the highly sought after Pygmy. And no Colombia order would be complete without at least a couple Red Pikes. And that's exactly what we got, a couple.

For Asian imports "nano" fish seem to be the big thing lately. Got in a new batch of Tiger Badis. These will go nicely with the Scarlets we had last week. Choprai Danios came in about as big and as bright as they get. You're gonna hear me say that a lot this week because it's true as we are at the time of year where the water temps are elevated and as a result so are the growth rates. And if it's growth you're looking for then look no further than the Redtail Cats. Small for now but eventually grow up to be legit river monsters. And speaking of monsters we finally got in Hifin Banded Loaches, just in time for pond season (which is exactly where they belong). But if you're looking something more aquarium friendly then check out the newly restocked Tricolor Barbs. Ever since we stared bringing those in back in January they have been flying out of here.

As much as I am not a huge fan of the heat down here in Florida I am a fan of what that means for fish availability and size. Starting with the Rainbows I don't think there's a single one that isn't running oversize at the moment. Medium Turquoise are probably the leader in this category but really can't go wrong with any of them. Diamond Tetras are practically show size this week. Cherry Barbs are running at a nice size with great color. Gold Zebra Danios are gigantic. For African Cichlids medium mix male Peacocks might be the best bang for the buck and not far behind them are the Yellow Albino Swallowtails.

Got in a new batch of Rainbow Dace over the weekend and you can tell they are in season as the males are just about in full color. About 50/50 male/female ratio in the mix but that's a good thing as the males will tend to hold onto their color longer with females present.
Red Glass Barbs got a restock last night and they are about as bright as they can be. Sex ratio is about even with males being bright red while the females are primarily yellow. Makes for a great color mix.
3" Clown Knives are still in their "stripey" phase but they have nice fat bellies so should hold up just fine.
New Gold Dojos are the biggest we've seen since probably last summer. You never know how these will come in as some times they're the size of Kuhlis. But not these. Great size with fantastic color. Perfect time to load up on them.
Concolor Cories are a bit mixy in size but in a good way. The smallest ones are average while others are considerably larger than usual.
Large Green Terrors (about 4") got a bit of a restock over the weekend but they are pretty limited so order early if you want to snag a couple.
Tomato Haps look to be mostly male and despite what the name might suggest they are sporting a ton of bright yellow capped off by red dorsal sides.
One of the great things about Zebra Obliquedens is the color up almost immediately upon arrival. Just got these in this afternoon and they're already colored up like little Christmas trees.
Large assorted Hap mix has some real beauts in it this week including a handful of male Livingstoni like this blue bruiser.
Not quite as big as the afore mentioned Livingstoni but still very brightly colored are the Red Fin Borleyi that can also be found in the assorted large Hap mix this week.
And while these are NOT in the assorted mix we do have a handful of some very nicely colored large Venustus.
