Got another size of Peacock Bass available this week, 3"-4". Don't let the pic fool you, these have great patterns it just dropped it as soon as it came out of the water lol.
    Hey Folks,
Been another crazy Monday here which is very surprising for October but I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. Hope everyone else out there is as busy as we are for this historically slow time of year. So with that being said here's a quick rundown of what came in over the weekend as well as a recap from Friday. If you missed the title card we got in a very limited number of 3-4" Peacock Bass from last week's Colombia shipment. Perfect size as they're not too expensive and they are very well started so should hold up very well for you. Moth Cats aka Anchor Cats are back. These could pass as a nano tank scavenger. And while they aren't particularly active they do tend to sit out in the open during the day. In Tetra news we got in Bloodfins for the first time in what feels like forever and this week's Serpaes are some of the nicest we've gotten all year. For Cichlids we got in Chipokae at a regular size but you already see some of the males just starting to turn color. Everyone's favorite balloon fish, Blood Parrots, got a restock over the weekend. And if you haven't been checking the reptile list there are some great creepy crawly items on there perfect for this time year including Arizona Blonde, Curly Hair and Cobalt Blue Tarantulas along with Asian Forest and Desert Hairy Scorpions.

    From Friday's email:
Can't remember we had this many great weeks in a row for incoming but here we are again with some fantastic new arrivals. We'll dive right in with Colombia. Had a shipment come in late last week as well as this week so there will be some overlap but that's certainly not a bad thing. Got Peacock in two different sizes and both look to be Temensis. Depending on what your market is like I would certainly recommend grabbing both since they have been in such short supply this year but if you can only go with one definitely grab the larger ones. Only been here a few hours and they are already showing great color and feeding on live food. Medium Silver Arowanas are hands down the biggest and nicest ones we've gotten all season. Significantly larger than all of the previous batches and super clean. Got restocks on Melini and Metae Cories, both at a great size. And if you missed last week's email we still have some very nice Skunk, Simulatus and Punctatus Cories as well as another restock on the ever popular Pygmy. No shortage on Characins as both Flagtail Prochs and Pinktail Chalceus got restocks and of you were ever in need of Silver Dollars or large Red Hooks then this is the week to stock up. New Pike Cichlids are Belly Crawler types and most have some very nice size to them. And since they came in late last week they missed the email but Ossa Knives came in huge once again.

As is often the case Asia came in huge this week. Just gonna start with the one item that will be sold out before I'm done typing this, Bloody Mary Borneo Suckers. Everything in this genus has been blowing up on social media for quite some time now and no matter which species/variant it is we just can't get enough. Trust me when I say if you're lucky enough to snag a couple you are not going to have them for very long. Next up will be the second fastest selling, and happens to be my favorite incoming item this week, Guentheri Kiilies. Super colorful, small, and typically pretty hardy. They're the total package. Just be sure to keep them separate or provide lots of cover for them as they are pretty rough on each other. Also sure to sell out due to both popularity as well as limited availability are the Avocado Puffers. If you haven't read the email in a while this is a true freshwater species that tends to be less aggressive than some of the more commonly available brackish species. Adult size it typically between 4-6". But if you're looking for something on the smaller side we got a nice assortment of nano fish this week including Blue Daisy Rice Fish, Scarlet Badis, Kubotai and Galaxy Rasboras.

What email would be complete without a rundown of some Florida raised beauties. First and foremost are the Peacock Gudgeons. For whatever reason these have been in short supply much of this year. Got in a pretty decent amount but given the length of their absence I don't expect them to be here for very long. It's always a struggle to pick out which Rainbow to highlight this time of year since pretty much all of them look so good right now. But this week's overall winner are the Neon Dwarf. Running huge with outstanding color. But in all fairness Kamakas, Reds and Albino Millenia all look fantastic as well. But if you're having a hard time trying to decide then go with the assorted. Really nice mix of different species in there. And sticking with the community these both the regular Pearl and Gold Gouramis are running at a nice size with good color and pattern. But if it's Angels you're looking for it's angels we got. Our local supplier has recently expanded their list so there are plenty to choose from. Highlights include Select High Coverage Koi, Medium Veils and Fancy mix large. And just got in a huge new batch of medium assorted Peacocks fresh out of ponds so they are about as bright as it gets.

Got a decent number of well acclimated Mono Sebaes available this week. They are in very hard water but with no salt added so very little acclimation required with these.
Bloodfin Tetras are back in stock this week! These haven't been around lately so no idea how long they're gonna last but I'm guessing not long.
Serpae Tetras are running big with fantastic color. Nicest ones we've had in months!
At a first glance these look like Auaratus but these are actually Chipokae. Haven't has these in forever. Will never understand why these aren't more popular than their closely related cousins since the males turn navy blue with black whereas adult male Auratus just turn into mud lol.
Moth Cats managed to sneak their way in somehow as we missed them on the Friday email. These are a great bottom dweller for tanks with smaller species as they stay fairly small (less than 2") and are very peaceful.
Got a handful of very nice sized Chili Oscars on hand. These vary a bit when it comes to color. Most of this batch have the black trim in the fins just like the one featured in the pic here.
Blood Parrots got a restock over the weekend. One of the best selling mutant fish in the hobby. as an added bonus it has "blood" in the name, perfect for a Halloween promotion.
Medium Texas are one of the best value Cichlids here on the farm this week.
