News & New Items

Hey folks,

We got some much anticipated shipments in this week, with some fish we've been waiting on for a long, long time.

Colombia FINALLY got us Snowball and Zebra plecos after months of waiting. These are probably going to fly out the doors, they haven't been being exported much for the past several months so don't wait around until Wednesday afternoon to try and order a dozen. We also got more of the super cool S.A. Gars with the marbled patterns on this shipment, and I know those will go quick too (we sold out on Monday this week for the last batch of them).

One of our local breeders we work with brought us a lot of Severums that we haven't had in a while as well, and these are always great sellers. We got Red Spot Golds (already had these, but nice to get more), Red Spot Rainbows, Orange Shoulders in 2 sizes, and Yellow Tigers. Severums make great semi-aggressive (mostly peaceful) tankmates and can go with everything from other cichlids to schools of tetras, so they're easy to recommend to people to get them sold.

Asia also restocked us with some of the Bloody Mary Borneo loaches again and I'm sure they'll sell as quickly as they have the last couple times. These are super highly demanded fish, and you should be buying them if you want to have stuff to stand out from the big box chain stores. They basically sell themselves if you have any web-presence.

Colombia

Snowball plecos are back from Colombia for the first time in many months. These popular and relatively inexpensive fancy plecos are a must-have for every store.

The other must-have fancy pleco which also haven't been in stock for many months are the Colombian Zebra plecos. These are a long standing staple in the hobby since they're one of the cheapest fancy plecos you can possibly get.

Large wild bushynose are also available from Colombia this week for those that want full grown ready-to-breed bushynose. Mixed sex.

Pygmy Cory cats are back in stock and looking good. These little cories think they're tetras the way they swim around in a school up in the water column.

Hummingbird Tetras are back, and we've only had these a couple times in the last few years. These "tetras" think they're darters or gobies, and always hang out on the bottom and scoot around. That makes them a very interesting and unique little peaceful oddball fish.

Farlowellas restocked and great size.

Silver Hatchets came in great size this week.
