4" Import Peacocks have some absolute screamers in the batch like this Platinum Blast Super Red. Yes, I just made that up so if anyone has a better name for it let us know lol.
If you're coming to Global please stop by the booth and say hi. Not only will you get a discount on your next order but you'll also get to see the new Starfire Red® Gouramis in person. These are set to launch May 3rd.
Starfire Red® Angels are still shipping this week.
Don't forget Pristellas are still on sale for one more week! 20% off!
    Hey Folks,

Busy day today, we're scrambling to get all our fish packed up for Global Pet Expo this week!  And if you are planning on being at Global, we highly encourage you to stop by our booth and talk for a minute or two.  We give a discount to anybody that stops by the booth.  If you get these emails but have never given us an order before, it would be a great opportunity to give us a try with a nice fat discount off the order to offset any "risk" of dealing with a new supplier.

In fishy news, I know we did have a fair few fish on the Friday email that we had pictures of but weren't on our stock list, and we have the prices for all those today for you on the "new fish" section above.  Sorry that happens, it just takes our admin office people a few days after new stuff arrives to figure out the landed cost and get us a price sometimes on fish we haven't had in a while or ever before.  So all those should be available now.  If we missed something else, just ask your rep and we can get it for you quickly.

I also hate to be the bearer of bad news, but our guppy shipment from Sri Lanka got cancelled again yesterday.  it might arrive later in the week, but as of right now until it shows up we're pretty dang low on guppies, so I'd recommend ordering just the assorted males if you want the best fill rate (they're on special anyway and the best deal...so you have nothing to lose there).  Hopefully the Sri Lanka disruptions don't last too much longer, but this is the 2nd time in 3 weeks so fingers crossed.   Sri Lanka as a country is in some pretty deep...uhhh...stuff.... right now, so its really a bummer to see that their issues are affecting our ability to get fish out of the country, but it unfortunately is and i won't be shocked if guppy issues become commonplace in the near future so stock up when you can!

For other new stuff that arrived over the weekend, we finally got a restock of assorted Oscars in both sizes we normally carry.  I'm not sure how fast those are going to fly right back out the door to the large chain stores that have been waiting on Oscars for a month now like everyone else, but I'd imagine they'll go very quick, so get your orders in early if you're hoping to restock on those in a large way.

Discus are also getting a restock tomorrow (Tuesday) so we should have plenty of awesome fish to pick for you if you're loading up on discus this week!

Lastly, if you haven't seen, it looks like Hawaii is finally considering opening collection back up for saltwater fish!  The Hawaii ornamental fishery is one of the best studied in the world, and it is completely sustainable. I strongly believe, as do most members of our community, that sustainable harvest complements rather than harms ornamental aquaculture. I’d appreciate you taking the time to click the link below and show your support for sustainable harvest of ornamental fish in Hawaii. It is well regulated, with restrictions on where collection takes place, what species are allowed, and how many can be collected. While we’re not heavily vested in the marine side of the hobby here, we recognize a strong hobby is good for everyone. Thanks for your help.

Cherry Barbs are running huge right now
Large Bleeding Hearts have a price now, on the "new fish list" above
Red Phantoms are some of the best colored ones I've seen come through in a while
Pineapple swords are currently the best looking color sword by far.  Stay away from the Velvets this week, trust me.
Red Paradise Gouramis are very different looking from Blue Paradise Gouramis.  If you haven't tried these before they're pretty interesting!
Medium Jacks are great size for a medium.  We have large on the list as well, but the medium is the best fish per dollar.
Fancy medium Mbunas are still excellent.  We got another small restock to add to the variety and there are some exceptional fish in that mix now.
Red Turq Discus are nice, if you don't want to do the assorted mix I'd recommend these out of the
Marlboro Discus are pretty nice too, but don't quite have the white faces yet.  You can see they're coming in, but it's still a little hazy looking.
Galaxias plecos are huge and well worth the money.  Every store that I sold them to last week made a comment about how much nicer they were than they were expecting.
