| Chameleon Whiptails are back! The most sought after of all the whiptail cats for a good reason. These can change color and pattern in a relatively short time to blend in with their surroundings or to show their mood. |

Hey folks,
Pond season is finally here! The Pond Plant list has been added to the availability, and trust me you'll want to get your orders to stock up on these as soon as possible. With the pond plants, theres only a certain number of each type to go around, and once they're gone they're gone. Certain colors of water lilies tend to go pretty quick each year, so don't get stuck with only white and yellow left for your customers and stock up this week or next.
As for fish, we got a super impressive Colombia shipment in that honestly rivals Brazil from last week. We got even more fancy plecos, chameleon whiptails, 3 or 4 new fancy oddball catfish, dwarf pikes, and a lot more.
From Asia we restocked on both types of Hillstream Loaches at the same time this week! Borneo Suckers and Sewellia are both here, but the Sewellia are MUCH more limited, so i expect to run out of those pretty fast. We also got a new batch of redtail catfish around 3 inches or so, and the last 2 batches of those sold out on Monday the week they were available. I'm not sure what the deal is with the sudden craze for redtail cats, but I'm not complaining. Pack your order ASAP if you want some of those.
Gardneri Killifish came in bigger and more impressive than I've seen in years, so great time to get some of those (they're mixed sex, but pretty close to 50/50). Also from Asia, the little moth cats AKA Anchor Cats are restocked.
We still have a bunch of the really cool stuff from Brazil last week, plus all these new species for this week, so all in all I think this might be one of the best looking stocklists we've sent out in a long, long time. Great time to throw us an order if you don't order regularly. Also, if you don't order regularly, i'd like to remind you to check our specials page out and compare the prices to whoever you're giving your business to right now. It probably could put more money in your bank account at the end of the year to be buying all those fish from us instead, so check it out. |

| We are now officially announcing the latest addition to the GloFish® line, Starfire Red® Gouramis! This might be the hottest fish in the line yet. Yes, they really look like this. We took this photo in our sales office without the use of any lens filters or enhancement. These are just that awesome! These will launch on May 3rd, so just around the corner. |
| Starfire Red® Angels are still shipping in good numbers with some patterned individuals in the mix. |
| The Thresher Plecos from a while back finalliy settled in and colored up! They look really, really cool now, making them probably the best value out of all the plecos currently in stock. |
| New L75 Plecos are in stock in two new sizes to add to the Mediums we already had. This one here is the new "large" size, and they're extremely impressive. This is probably one of the smaller ones in the tub to be honest, some are huge. |
| And here are the new regular-sized L75 plecos. Still not bad by any stretch, a solid 2.5 or maybe 3 inch fish with plenty of yellow coloration already. |
| Wild Colombian Bushynose are restocked and there are some super chunky males in this batch, full grown or close to it. Everyone went ga-ga for the White Seam bushynose last week at almost $40 a pop, but don't forget these are an option too for a fraction of the price and we normally have these in stock. |
| Shoehead Catfish are back! These cool looking wood cats are one of the most unique body shapes on any catfish in the world. They have a cool little spike on their head that they pop up to wedge themselves into holes and prevent predators from pulling them out. |
| Even cooler than the Shoehead cats, another wood cat, the Duckbill catfish are in stock this week! We've had these a few times in the past but they're still pretty rare to get in. These are probably the most colorful out of all the catfish in that family, with cool looking cream colored markings all down their sides. |
| Gulper Catfish also back in stock so we have no shortage of oddball catfish this week! |
| Large Red Pikes are absolutely huge, about a foot long, so you'll need a big tank for these guys. They're super impressive though and perfect for anyone with a need for some big display fish |
| My personal favorite new fish this week are the Dwarf Regani Pikes! It's been over a year since these showed up, so get them now if you'd interested, you won't get another shot for a while once these sell out. They're just as mean as larger pikes, so be careful housing multiples together. |
| Gardneri Killies are the biggest I've seen come through here in the last two years. Pic really doesn't do them as the males are huge! |
| Sewellia Hillstream Loaches are back this week. No real pitch here as these are usually gone within a day or two. This is more or less a public service announcement so everyone knows we have them. |
| Moth aka Anchor cats are big enough to the point where you can actually see a bit of their pattern alongside the body. |
| Knight gobies are back, the largest of the freshwater gobies that we typically get. |
| Rosy Loaches somehow managed to stay in stock for a full week without selling out. These are the perfect nano cleaner! |
| This week's Pearl Danios are the nicest we've seen so far this year. Way oversize with a bright iridescent sheen to them. |
| Of the dwarf/pygmy (Pseudomugil) Rainbows this week the Signifers are your best bet. Nearly full grown with plenty if males in the mix. |
| Brilliant Rasboras have are a staple that everyone should be stocking due to it's highly approachable price point and general attractiveness. But this week in particular is a good time to stock up as they are about as big as they get. |
| Homegrown Cherry Barbs are currently being raised here and look super solid. |
| Hifin Black Neon Variatus came back, and these are definitely the most popular and best looking of all the variatus. |
| Marigold Wag swordtails are the best pick for swords this week, bar none. They're huge, florida bred, and alert and active looking. Definitely go with these if you don't want to get the much, much cheaper assorted swordtails (which are also fine). |
| Penguins keep coming in at a massive size. Outside of Diptail Pencils this is one of the coolest schooling freshwater species out there. |
| Embers are about as nice as they get this week. Hard to tell from the pic but they are huge (relatively speaking). |
| Red Eyes are big and bright and a must have staple that everyone should be stocking at all times. |
| We've featured these about a thousand times in the last six weeks and if they continue to come in this awesome we will feature them another thousand times. |
| Red Phantoms are about as red as they get. This pic really doesn't show just how bright they are. |
Central & South American Cichlids
| Showing this guy off again so everyone who isn't familiar with Florida raised Red Spot Gold Severums look like as adults. All natural color with zero added hormones. |
| Got in Red Spot Gold Severums at a select size this week. Now that you've seen what they turn into I expect everyone to have these on their orders this week lol. |
| Borrowed some of the wild Severums we had for Global but they are now back at the farm and look amazing. Hobbyist and breeders are always on the lookout for fresh bloodlines to add to their brood stock and these don't come around very often. |
| Rare fish alert!!! Retroculous Lapidifers also came in from Brazil. These are very closely related to Geophagus, and are similarly nonaggressive towards tankmates. These, like the Laeacaras I already showed you, are from the clear-water rivers of Southeast Brazil.... so they do NOT need blackwater or low PH water! They actually prefer and do much better on a sandy bottom with higher PH and harder water, so they'll do great in most stores. They do like a good amount of flow, if possible |
| Regular Geo Altifrons week got from Brazil last week have settled in lokk amazing. Some of the bigger individuals are already starting to show color like the mediums. |
| We sold out of the 5" Brasiliensis but we still have a handful of the 4" and they look just as good only slightly smaller. |
| 4" Import Peacocks are really stealing the show this week. This batch even has some normal strains like this Stuartgranti aka Flavescens. |
| But as usual with the Import Peacocks there's always some gorgeous made up varieties like this Pink Berry Dragon Ghost (yes, I totally just made that up off the top of my head). |
| Haven't had far east raised Brichardi in quite some time. Came in at a pretty decent size this week, about 1.25". |
| Blue Diamond 2.5-3" |
| Red Turquoise 2.5-3" |
| Medium Royal Plecos are some of the nicest I have ever seen. And not just here but anywhere. Great color, great lines and great fins. |
| Still have a surprisingly decent number of Gold Nugget Plecos on hand in both regular and medium sizes. Pictured here is one of the smaller mediums. Truth be told these really should have been put on the list as larges. |
| Regular Gold Nuggets are settled in and are truly showing off their namesake. |
| Now that they've had a chance to settle in the Leopard Cactus Plecos are showing bright orange coloration in their fins. |
| The Yellow Edge Plecos for last week's Brazil shipment are still one of the coolest fish here at the farm. Similar to to but different enough from Gold Nuggets to really make them stand out. |
| Small Blue Phantom Plecos are bordering on medium size this week. |
| Got Green Phantom Plecos in just about every size you could want. Pictured here is one of the XLs. |
| Got a handful of Adonis Plecos from Peru that not only have fantastic spotting but most of them have their streamers intact as well. |
| Somebody call Guiness. Think we might have the world's largest Punctatus Cories in stock this week lol. |
| Was wondering why the Reynoldsi Cory weren't selling, then we took a look at the price list. Oops, clearly there was a clerical error. Now not only are they the correct price but also quite the bargain given the size and uniqueness of them. |
