Hey Everyone,
A surprisingly great week of incoming despite all the weather challenges we've had the last few weeks. For those of you that have held off from ordering due to shipping conditions now is the time to buy. Lotta great stuff came in this week both from overseas as well as from right here in Florida. Got in shipments from Indo, Thailand and Colombia. Some familiar faces along with some long forgotten favorites. Tons of pics below.
We'll start with Colombia, As you can see in the pics, we got in a handful of some amazing Red Pikes. These are super limited so let your rep know if you are interested. For items we have decent numbers on we got in one of my favorite Colombian imports, wild Oscars. They may sound odd considering it's such a common species but I'll take the wild variant over captive raised any day of the week. In addition to those we also got restocked on one of Joe's old favorites, Exodon Paradoxus. Very unique and always a good seller. And of course we got restocks on all the must haves including Silver Hatchets, Raphael Cats, Otos, Clown, Rubber and Royal Plecos. Plus a few other hidden gems you'll see down below.
Another great shipment from our Indo supplier this week. Wasn't able to get pics of everything considering it just arrived last night but got quite a few regardless. My personal favorite and absolute stand out are the Rainbow Shiners. These don't show color all year long but as of right now they are on fire. Pic below does not do them justice. They are a shimmering see of purple at the moment. Another one showing off are the Black Emperor Tetras. I've never been a huge fan of this variant as I've always felt the natural occuring counterpart was a better looking fish. I might have to change my opinion on that as this batch is outstanding. About as big as I've ever seen them come in. Would make for an awesome display in a planted tank. Also got in another batch of Panda Tetras. One of the less common species that always seem to move really well here. also got in quite a few shrimp as well as some other nice inverts.
Got in a nice small shipment from one of our suppliers in Thailand. The two biggest additions from here for me are the Freshwater Clouded Archers and the Red Pearl Flowerhorns. Both came in looking great and are sure to sell out in a hurry. We also got in two types of Betta that aren't necessarily new but but are new to us as far as I know. Gold Platinum Halfmoon and Nemo Koi Plakat. Both are very nice and unique in appearance.
Hopefully the weather will continue to hold up for all us for the next couple of weeks because as we all know this is our busy season. Reach out to your rep if you have any questions.

Red Pikes are really great size this time! We had a few come through here a couple months ago, but this batch is literally double the size of the last one. Showing plenty of color at this size. |
Wild Oscars are back in from Colombia and have super cool striping like normal. Makes a great option to mix in with your normal tank raised assorted oscars. |
Pike Cichlids restocked from Colombia this week also, and this is mostly the belly-crawler type that stay near the bottom of the tank and aren't as aggressive as the larger red pikes. They also max out at a much smaller max size so they're appropriate for tanks of nearly all sizes. |
Royal plecos are back! Nice red eyes and decent fins on these, which isn't always the case for wild caught fish. |
Blue Phantom plecos came in great size for the first time in probably a year! I think the last batch of blue phantoms we got were about the same size as otocinculus and the price was the same. So they're back to being good value again. |
Brown Ghost knives are always one of the best possible deals on an oddball fish. They're much cheaper than black ghost knives, but double the size. |
Gold Tetras wild from Colombia are great size this week. Have a couple thousand. |
Diptail Pencil are a super unique schooling fish that are the kind of fish your more true hobbyists will want for their display tanks instead of the common tetras. A lot of people just want somethign a little bit difference, and these are the perfect candidate. |
Black Emperor tetras came in larger than I think I've ever seen before. Really great fish that should be on everyone's radar. |
Balloon Penguin tetras might look kind of dumb, but the other describing adjective people use would be "cute". Balloon fish always seem to have some fans out there. |
Ember Tetras came in really big again, basically full grown fish that have awesome orange color. |
Panda Tetras always sell out in a hurry. They're basically bloodfin tetras that have black fins instead of red, but people love "panda" fish. |
Rainbow Shiners must be breeding currently at the supplier, because they came in with color on them! I've seen them look like good less than a handful of times in the 8 years I've been here, so if you like this fish you should definitely be picking some up this week. |
Peacock gudgeon gobies back again this week. We got some last week and they sold out really quick, so this week we have twice as many. |
Ornate Bichirs are the best looking bichir in the world in almost everyon'es opinion. The black and yellow contrast is super eye catching, and they keep great color into adulthood. |
Blue Diamond shrimp are one of the most popular shrimp we get, everyone loves the blue color and the price is great for the quality. |
Red Crystal shrimp are a nice batch of good contrasting color that would be worth breeding. |
NEW Nemo Plakat Koi Betta males. We've had Nemo type koi before years ago, but these are from a different supplier, and the price is much, much better from the new supplier. |
Gold Platinum Betta is a really interesting unique color combination. Platinum body with gold fins. |
Clouded Archers are true freshwater archers and sell out quick every time we get them. a group of these make one of the most unique and coolest display tanks for a species display. |
Knight Goby are NOT a true freshwater species like the clouded archers. Make sure to keep a good amount of salt on these gobies, they'll get sick eventually if you keep them in pure fresh. |
Still have some of these awesome Medium sized premium OB peacock cichlids! |
Assorted Import Peacock have an awesome resupply this week. Tons of great color being shown thanks to eating a bowlful of testosterone twice a day.at their parent's house in Asia. |
Florida bred Chailosi are the best mbuna here at the moment. Pretty rare species so you won't seen often, since they're never in the mixed mbunas. |
Medium fancy mbunas have a lof of cool medium sied mbuna in there like this one that looks almost like the bubblegum Soco. |
Large Brichardi are on the list this week. We featured them on the Monday email but didn't have them on the list yet at that point. Price is great on these. Only a couple dollars more than the regular sized imported brichardi. |
Still have a couple Freckle Cichlids left (Lents). Come on ya'll, everyone's always begging for big Green Terrors that cost more than these do. And these are roughly 5X cooler than a green terror that everyone's seen a million times. Don't sleep on these another week, when they're gone, they're gone forever. |
Medium Uaru looking good and getting their signature black patches on the side already. |
Florida Bred Rainbow Severums are back! These are absolutely fantastic. I can't believe they're this red at such a young age. They are probably destined to be some of the best looking severums you've ever seen. |
Red Warrior Flowerhorns are back in stock. We've had these a couple times in the distant past. We get these from a local breeder that has broodstock that are allegedly "Kamfa crosses". I've seen the pictures of them and they do look really good. |
Got some small Geophagus Red heads back in. These always sell out quick, as they're one of the best looking Geophagus. |
Green Pinoy Angelfish are a new strain from another local breeder here! I expect they'll sell out in a second based on how quick the Black Green Avatars and Bulgarian Green Sealpoints always sell. |
First time i've ever seen koi angels in the large fancy mix! |
Llg Peru bleeding heart tetras holding up great, The bigger a tetra species is, the hardier they tend to be, and that's being proven true by bleeding hearts. |
We're out of normal bloodfins at the moment, but have a good number of the Glass variety to hold you over for another week hopefully. |
Firecracker swords are as impressive as always. I'd highly recommend always treating them with antibiotics and quarantining them on arrival though. I think the breeder of these keeps them in a completely sealed environment where they never encounter a single germ, so once they go into a realistic fish tank they get sick. |
Dawn Platy are one of the better looking platy types this week. Good size. |
Everyone that's been asking us about female dwarf gouramis, now's your chance! the "dwarf gourami" on the list are mixed sex. |
Asian Rummynose are back in stock. These are in the Rasbora section on our list, but they're actually a barb species. They do look very similar to a rummynose tetra, but don't get them confused as they are completely different fish. |
Godzilla sized tiger barbs are in the house! I've seen some LG tigers be really big around here in the past, but these take it to a new level. I actually didn't know tiger barbs could even get this big. |
Bolivian rams are one of the best looking batches I've ever seen. Good timing too, since normal blue rams are still out of stock. |
Assellus Puffers are finally done being sick here and are ready for sale! These have been here for almost a month now. |
Large Albino Bushynose are back to being really great size on average. They were getting a little smalller there for a second, but they're great this week. |
